Raffaele Romano di Solofra is the winner for the traditional category of the Panettone Day 2018 competition, whose final took place on Saturday 15 September in Milan at Sweety, an important national event dedicated to Italian pastry Raffaele Romano, from the Fratelli Romano pastry shop in Solofra (AV), is the winner, among high-level creations among the best Italian artisans, of the final of the national Panettone Day 2018 competition.
Romano is the winner in the category "best traditional panettone", while Piero Bertoli of the Bertoli Pastry shop in Varallo (VC) with his variation of the panettone based on candied peaches, dark chocolate and amaretti is the winner as "best creative panettone".
