EVENT - DECEMBER 2020
A mass of Panettoni is the eighth edition entirely dedicated to artisanal panettone. The event will bring together masterpieces of this white art created by pastry chefs, laboratories and companies of excellence including the Masters of Taste, selected by the Turin Chamber of Commerce, who have as a common goal the use of high quality ingredients.
Conceived and organized by the Details events agency, it celebrated its first edition in the rooms of Palazzo Cavour in December 2012 with the participation of 5,000 visitors.
The second and third editions were held in the historic rooms of the Museum of the Italian Risorgimento in Palazzo Carignano in 2013 and 2014 and subsequent editions in the rooms of the Hotel Principi di Piemonte with the participation of forty pastry artisans from all over Italy and twenty thousand visitors.
Certainly born in Milan more than 500 years ago and become famous all over the world, panettone is a truly unique product, one of the few that still retain the ancient natural leavening method. A tradition that, however, is renewed. In fact, in the last twenty years, numerous variations have been proposed: smooth, stuffed, with or without icing, filled with cream, chocolate or ice cream, with or without raisins or candied fruit ..
Every year on the tables of the Christmas holidays this typical dessert cannot be missing!
The venue of the event will again be at the Principi di Piemonte, a charming and elegant 5-star hotel located in the heart of the city's shopping just in front of the renowned Via Roma. Its stately rooms will host pastry chefs from all over Italy and master chocolatiers from Piedmont. The hotel represents a real historical heritage of the city for its undoubted architectural beauty, the sumptuous splendor, the wealth of details such as the precious decorations, the Venini mosaics and the historic Murano glass, and the unique setting wisely combined with rooms of different capacities and sizes.
